EU bourses are up, Milan flat

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Milan stock exchange ends on a flat note, quite unlike the bullish finish seen elsewhere in Europe. On the US market trading is up for the S&P-500.

EUR / USD holds its position at 1.083. Gold is in reverse gear, sliding to 2,347.3 dollars per ounce. Caution prevails in the oil market, with Light Sweet Crude Oil registering a slight decline of -0.75%.

The Spread is up at +129 basis points, an increase of 3 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.87%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt goes nowhere, reporting a +0.06% change, London is sluggish, declining marginally (-0.37%), and Paris is basically unchanged, reporting a scant +0.13% variation.

The Borsa Italiana closes flat, with the FTSE MIB settling at 34,468 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share undulates around the flatline, ending the day at 36,670 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap lacks direction (-0.12%); the FTSE Italia Star is slightly down (-0.21%).

Prysmian (+3.32%), Finecobank (+1.66%), Moncler (+0.86%) and Poste Italiane (+0.69%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Snam sees the heaviest sell-offs, finishing trade -2.82% lower.

Terna is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 1.82%.

Hera is modestly down, shedding -1.36%.

Enel drifts -1.02% lower.

Technoprobe (+3.92%), Comer Industries (+3.19%), Maire (+2.83%) and Danieli & C (+2.82%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Tamburi has the worst performance, closing -2.64% down.

Ascopiave trades negative, losing -2.47%.

Acea plunges -2.15%.

Iren declines by a notable -1.83%.
