All European markets slightly lower

News Image (Teleborsa) - Milan flags in the wake of Europe's major bourses.

EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only +0.03%. Gold creeps up +0.43%. Caution prevails in the oil market, with Light Sweet Crude Oil registering a slight decline of -0.15%.

The Spread sees a small decrease, losing -2 basis points to stand at +127 BPs, while the Italy BTP 10-year yield settles at +3.84%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, investors hurry to sell as Frankfurt declines -0.75%, London is definitely weaker with a -0.65% decrease, and Paris slips just under the flatline with a -0.51% decrease.

Piazza Affari is trading negative, with the FTSE MIB shedding -0.97%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share retreats -0.9% to trade at 36,338 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap slips a fraction (-0.33%); similarly, the FTSE Italia Star hovers just below the flatline (-0.47%).

All of Milan's blue chips take a plunge, or at least lose ground.

Saipem has the worst performance, with a -2.55% down.

MPS Bank plunges -2.43% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as Telecom Italia records a -2.23% fall.

Banca Popolare Sondrio shows a negative session -2.08% down.

Maire (+2.04%), Caltagirone (+1.15%), Philogen (+1.10%) and BFF Bank (+0.89%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

OVS sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -2.15% lower.

Troubled Digital Value falls -1.94%.

Pharmanutra is down, with a net loss of 1.70%.

Danieli & C is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 1.65%.
