(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 20 mar - The Italian fashion group Ermenegildo Zegna said it generated a profit of 109.5 million euros in 2025, up by 20% compared to the year earlier.

The gross margin for the year rose by 90 basis points to 67.5%.

Adjusted EBIT totalled 163.0 million euros, down from 184.0 million in 2024. The adjusted EBIT figure included a 10 million euro provision for expected losses on trade receivables related to the Saks Global Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.

Revenue for the year fell by a reported 1.5% to 1.917 billion euros but was 1.1% higher on an organic basis.

Zegna said it closed the year with a cash surplus of 52 million euros against net financial debt of 94 million at end 2024. The company is proposing a dividend on 2025 earnings of 0.12 euros per ordinary share.

'In 2025 our group delivered solid revenue and net profit growth despite a continued challenging environment for the sector," commented Ermenegildo Zegna, executive chairman of the group. "Looking ahead, recent developments in the Middle East have introduced additional uncertainty across the sector. In this more complex environment, our priorities remain clear: disciplined growth, strong cash generation, and.
