Wheaton Precious Q1 adj EPS 0.361 usd, up 56.3%

Q1 revenue 297 mln usd, up 38.4% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Toronto, 10 May - The Canadian royalty company Wheaton Precious Metals said that in the first quarter adjusted earnings per share rose 56.3% to 0.361 US dollars as adjusted net profit rose 56.6% to 163.6 million dollars.

Revenue increased 38.4% to 297 million dollars.

The operating cash flow rose 62.4% to 219 million dollars.

The company said that it had a cash balance of 306 million dollars, no debt, and an undrawn 2 billion dollar revolving credit facility as at March 31, after making total upfront cash payments of 462 million dollars relative to mineral stream and royalty interests in the quarter.

The company declared a quarterly dividend of 0.155 dollars per common share.
