(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 2 giu - Voyager Technologies said it had agreed to acquire Astrobotic Technology for up to 300 million dollars.

Astrobotic, a Pittsburgh-based provider of commercial lunar delivery, lunar power and reusable rockets, is a key strategic acquisition in Voyager's lunar initiative road map, Voyager said.

The acquisition directly supports NASA's Artemis program and Administrator Jared Isaacman's commitment to a permanent American presence on the Moon by 2028.

Voyager intends to accelerate investment to scale Astrobotic's lunar and reusable rocket programs in support of America's Moon Base plans.

The deal is expected to close in early July.
