UniCredit shareholders okay capital hike for Commerzbank bid

Shareholders holding voting rights for 99.55% of the capital represented at the meeting, cleared the issue of up to 470 million ordinary UniCredit shares 'to be settled through the contribution in kind of the Commerzbank shares tendered in the exchange offer.' According to UniCredit, its board will have the power to decide on the amount of the capital increase, the issue price for newly issued shares and other terms and conditions of the capital increase, within the limits established by applicable.
