(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 30 mar - Uber Technologies said it had agreed to acquire chauffeur-service company Blacklane as the ride-hailing company continues its expansion into luxury and executive travel.

Blacklane, which operates in over 500 cities across more than 60 countries, connects guests worldwide with independent local chauffeur services via an app and web booking platform.

Executive travel is a fast-growing segment of Uber's business, driven by strong demand for planned, high-quality transport services, the company said.
