Forecasts Q2 gross bookings 38.75-40.25 bln usd (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - New York, 08 May - Uber Technologies said its revenue in the first quarter rose 15% to 10.131 billion dollars while its adjusted core earnings, or EBITDA, jumped 82% to 1.4 billion.

Analyst expectations were for revenue of 10.11 billion dollars.

Uber said gross bookings in the three months grew 20% from the previous year to 37.7 billion dollars, or 21% on a constant currency basis.

It reported a net loss per share of 0.32 dollars compared to a loss of 0.08 the previous year.

The company said it expected an adjusted EBITDA in the second quarter of 1.45-1.53 billion dollars and gross bookings of 38.75-40.25 billion.
