(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 10 ott - US president Donald Trump threatened to cancel his upcoming meeting with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping and to impose a 'massive increase of Tariffs' on Chinese imports to the US over export controls that Beijing intends to impose on rare earths.

The president's move comes after China's Ministry of Commerce said that foreign entities must now obtain a license to export products that contain more than 0.1% of rare earths.
