(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 11 set - The French energy company TotalEnergies said it has acquired the 35% stake it did not already own at the Grandpuits advanced plastics recycling plant from the new owner of Plastic Energy.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Grandpuits plant, located in Seine-et-Marne in France, started production in March 2026 and has an annual capacity to process 15,000 tons of plastic waste.

The sale is part of the restructuring of the shareholding of Plastic Energy, a London-based chemical recycling company.
