(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 22 apr - Shares in Teleflex jumped in premarket trade after a report that private equity companies had tabled a bid for the medical equipment company.

CVC Capital Partners and GTCR together submitted a takeover bid to take Teleflex private, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

It is unclear how Teleflex has responded, Bloomberg said.

At 1251 GMT Teleflex shares were up 9.1%.
