Tap Air Portugal FY net profit 4.1 mln eur, down 92%
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 9 apr - The airline Tap Air Portugal said it posted a net profit of 4.1 million euros in 2025, down by 92% compared to the year earlier due to a one-off tax charge.
Without that charge, Tap said it would have posted a profit of 46 million euros last year.
Revenue for the year stood at 4.3 billion euros, up by 1.2% compared to the year earlier.
The Portuguese government intends to sell off up to a 49.9% stake in Tap in 2026, with a 5% stake reserved for employees.
Air France-KLM and Lufthansa presented non-binding offers for Tap last week, while IAG, the parent company of British.
Airways and Iberia, withdrew its offer.
