Stanley Black & Decker Q1 adj EPS 0.80 usd vs 0.75
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 29 apr - The US tools and outdoor solutions company Stanley Black & Decker said it reported earnings per share of 0.39 dollars in the first quarter ended April 4, down from 0.60 dollars the year earlier, while adjusted EPS rose to 0.80 dollars from 0.75 dollars.
Sales for the quarter amounted to 3.8 billion dollars, up 3% versus the prior year and flat on an organic basis.
The company now expects to report EPS for the full year in a 4.15-5.35 dollar range, which is higher than prior guidance factoring in the expected gain on the sale of CAM now that that the transaction has closed. It continues to anticipate.
