Q1 revenue 3.87 bln usd, down 2% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - New York , 02 May - Stanley Black & Decker, the US provider of tools and hardware equipment, said it posted a net profit of 19.5 million dollars, or 0.13 dollars per share, in the first quarter of 2024, compared with a loss of 187.8 million, or 1.26 dollars a share, in the year earlier.
Adjusted EPS in the latest first quarter amounted to 0.56 dollars.
Revenue for the quarter amounted to 3.87 billion dollars, down 2% compared to the year earlier as growth in Dewalt and Engineered Fastening Was more than offset by lower Infrastructure volume and muted consumer and DIY demand.
The company reiteraetd its full year guidance. It still anticipates reported EPS of 1.60-2.85 dollars, adjusted EPS of 3.50-4.50 dollars and free cash flow of 0.6-0.8 billion.
