SpaceX reportedly looking to raise 75 bln usd in IPO
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 26 mar - SpaceX has told investors it aims to raise about 75 billion dollars in an initial public offering, higher than the 50 billion it previously indicated, the Financial Times reported, citing unnamed sources.
According to the FT, Elon Musk is now targeting a valuation of about 1.75 trillion dollars for the company.
While SpaceX hasn't filed its IPO draft prospectus with US regulators, it could do so in coming days as it aims to make its trading debut by June, the newspaper said.
Two sources told the FT that bankers involved with the deal are considering allowing existing shareholders to cash out of their positions on the first day.
SpaceX didn't immediately respond to a request for comment,.
