(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 19 giu - Ryanair said its veteran CEO Michael O'Leary will remain in his position until April 2032.

The decision concludes months of discussion with O'Leary and extensive engagement with the group's largest shareholders, the airline said.

The new contract includes a modest annual salary and a capped annual bonus, it said, adding the CEO would qualify for a new one-off purchase option over 10 million ordinary shares.

O'Leary has been CEO of the Irish budget carrier since 1994.

and of the wider holding group since 2019.
