Rockwell Automation Q2 sales 2.239 bln usd, up 12%; hikes FY guidance

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 5 mag - Rockwell Automation, a US provider of industrial automation and digital transformation technologies, said that in the second quarter ended March 31 sales rose 12% year on year to 2.239 billion dollars. Organic sales increased 9%.

Diluted earnings per share rose 40% to 3.10 dollars and adjusted EPS grew 32% to 3.30 dollars.

The group improved its full year guidance. It now expects diluted EPS of 11.88-12.48 dollars, up from 10.75-11.55 dollars previously, and adjusted EPS of 12.50-13.10 dollars, against a prior estimate of 11.40-12.20 dollars.

Rockwell now anticipates sales of 8.9 billion dollars, up.

from a previous guidance of 8.8 billion.
