Q1 revenue 15.08 bln eur, down 1.4% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Madrid , 25 Apr - The Spanish energy group Repsol said it posted a net profit of 969 million euros in the first quarter of 2024, down 13% compared to the year earlier due to lower gas prices and an increase in renewable energy investments.

Adjusted net profit decreased by 33% to 1.27 billion euros.

Revenue in the quarter amounted to 15.08 billion euros, down 1.4% on the year.

Repsol said it invested 2.129 billion euros in the quarter. In the 2024-2027 period, it expects to invest 16-19 billion euros net, with 60% dedicated to the Iberian Peninsual and more than 35% to low-carbon projects.
