(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 11 giu - UK retailer Primark appointed Lucy Slinger as chief financial officer as it prepares to spin off from its parent company Associated British Foods.

Slinger joins Primark from her role as deputy CFO of IKEA franchisee Ingka Group, which operates across 32 countries.

Prior to this, she spent more than two decades at Shell in a range of senior finance leadership roles.

In March, Primark appointed Filip Ekvall as chief commercial.
