Nissan sees 2024/2025 net 380 bln yen, down 10.9%

Sees revenue up 7.2% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Tokyo, 09 May - The Japanese car maker Nissan said that it expects its net profit for the full year ending in March 2025 to reach 380 billion yen, down 10.9% from 426.6 billion the previous year, when its bottom line nearly doubled.

It anticipates operating profits to rise 5.5% to 600 billion yen thanks to the yen's weakness and cost savings. In the year to March 31, 2024, operating profits rose 51% to 568.7 billion yen.

Revenue is expected to rise 7.2% to 13.600 trillion yen.

Nissan volumes are seen growing to 3.70 million units from 3.44 million the previous year.
