Nebius signs AI infrastructure contract worth up to 27 bln usd with Meta
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 16 mar - Nebius, the Amsterdam-based artificial intelligence cloud company, said it has signed a five-year AI infrastructure supply agreement with Meta worth up to 27 billion dollars, strengthening the existing collaboration between the two companies.
Under the agreement, Nebius will provide 12 billion dollars of dedicated capacity to Meta across multiple locations. According to Nebius, this will be one of the first large-scale deployments of the Nvidia Vera Rubin platform. Nebius will deliver this capacity starting in early 2027.
In connection with access to these Nvidia Vera Rublin deployments, Meta has also committed to purchase additional available compute capacity across certain Nebius clusters up to a total of 15 billion dollars over a five-year period. Nebius explained that it currently intends to sell this capacity to third-party customers of its AI cloud business, with remaining capacity to be purchased by Meta.
'We are pleased to expand our significant partnership with Meta as part of securing more large, long-term capacity contracts to accelerate the build-out and growth of our core AI cloud business," commented Arkady Volozh, founder and CEO of Nebius.
Nebius noted that its 2026 guidance remains unchanged.
