National Grid FY underlying EPS 78.0 pence, up 8% same forex

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 14 mag - The UK power grid operator National Grid said that in the full year ended March 31 underlying earnings per share stood at 78.0 pence, up 8% at constant currency. Statutory EPS was up a reported 9% at 65.5 pence.

Capital investment totalled a record 11.6 billion pounds, up from 9.8 billion, driving asset growth of 10.9%.

The board recommended a final dividend of 32.14 pence share, resulting in a total dividend of 48.49 pence per share, up 3.8% compared to the prior year.

In the five-year period to fiscal 2030/2031, National Grid expects total cumulative capital investment of at least 70 billion pounds, a compound annual growth rate of around 10% for assets, and an underlying EPS CAGR of 8-10% from a 2025/26 EPS baseline of 78.0 pence.

The company aims to grow the dividend per share in line with the UK's CPIH inflation index.

For 2026/27, it expects underlying EPS to increase 13-15%.
