Mercedes-Benz Q1 revenue 31.602 bln eur, down 4.9%
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 29 apr - The German car and van manufacturer Mercedes-Benz said that in the first quarter revenue fell 4.9% to 31.602 billion euros.
Earnings before interest and taxes dropped 16.8% to 1.904 billion euros and the net profit declined 17.2% to 1.433 billion.
Earnings per share fell 14.4% to 1.49 euros.
Free cash flow industrial business was down 21.2% to 1.857 billion euros.
For the full year, MercedesBenz confirmed its guidance, expecting revenue at the prior-year level and EBIT significantly above the prioryear level, primarily reflecting restructuring charges incurred in the prior year.
