(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 19 giu - MDA Space said it had agreed to acquire Blue Canyon Technologies (BCT) for a purchase price and enterprise value of 620 million dollars.

BCT is a spacecraft and satellite component manufacturer and mission services provider, currently part of RTX's Raytheon business.

The Canadian space technology company said it would acquire 100% of the membership interests of BCT in an all-cash transaction.

The deal is expected to provide MDA Space with a strategic business and manufacturing footprint to capitalize on growing demand in the US government market for defence space missions MDA said it expects the transaction to be accretive to adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, as well as adjusted earnings per share in 2027.

The deal is expected to close by the end of this year.
