The euro was down 0.40% against the dollar at 1.1463 dollars and was up 0.09% against the pound at 0.8687 pounds. Against the yen, the euro was down 0.90% trading at 182.8600 yen. The pound was down 0.47% against the dollar at 1.3197 dollars.

The dollar was down 0.49% at 159.5200 yen.
