(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 18 mag - Shares in KULR Technology Group jumped in early trade after it said Argo Space had selected it as battery provider for a forthcoming space mission.

The energy-systems platform company said it would supply its KULR ONE Space battery systems, engineered to NASA safety standards, to power critical spacecraft subsystems throughout the mission's operational lifetime.

"KULR had the best solution on the market for a battery that met our unique needs for performance, reliability and cost," Argo COO Kirby Carlisle said.

At 1428 GMT, KULR Technology shares were up 10.6%
