(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 20 gen - KeyCorp said its net income from continuing operations attributable to Key common shareholders in the fourth quarter was 474 million dollars, or 0.43 dollars per share, compared to a loss of 279 million, or 0.28 per share, in the same period last year.

On an adjusted basis, earnings in the period were 458 million dollars, or 0.41 dollars per share. Analysts expected 0.39 dollars per share.

Total revenue in the three months was 2.005 billion dollars from 865 million a year earlier, the Minnesota-based bank said. Analysts expected 1.97 billion dollars.

Net interest income rose 15.3% to 1.223 billion dollars.

"Given our excess capital po sition and meaningful capital generation capabilities, we are well positioned to further increase our return of capital to our shareholders in 2026,".
