Market players in Asia are looking ahead to upcoming diplomatic talks in Islamabad, though sentiment remains tempered by ongoing regional tensions and disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.
On the corporate front, investor confidence was further supported by a massive rally in the technology sector following a major global AI infrastructure agreement between CoreWeave and Meta Platforms.
The market also received a boost from Fast Retailing. The Uniqlo parent company saw its shares surge after raising its full-year operating profit guidance, citing robust demand in Western markets and steady domestic performance.
Gains were led by technology and retail stocks, as the Nikkei.
