Italy sells 9.25 bln eur in 3, 5, 7, 30 and 50-yr bonds
Yield on 3-yr issue steady at 3.32% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Rome , 10 May - Italy's treasury sold a total of 9.25 billion euros in three, five, seven, 30 and 50-year bonds in an auction.
In particular, it sold 2 billion euros in the ninth tranche of three-year bonds maturing February 15, 2027 at a yield of 3.32%, steady covered to the previous auction. The bid-to-cover ratio was 1.60.
The treasury sold 1 billion euros in the ninth tranche of five-year bonds comng due April 1, 2027 at a yield of 3.28%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 1.955.
It also sold 4.5 billion euros in the first tranche of seven-year bonds maturing July 15, 2023, as the yield inched down by 0.01 percentage points to 3.52%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 1.37.
The Italian treasury sold 1 billion euros in the 24th tranche of 30-year bonds maturing October 1, 2024, with a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.486 and a yield of 4.14%.
Lastly, it sold 750 million euros in the fifth tranche of 50-year bonds maturing March 1, 2072 at a yield of 3.96%.
