Italy sells 7.5 bln eur in 3, 7 and 20-yr bonds

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 13 mag - Italy's treasury sold a total of 7.5 billion euros of three, seven and 20-year bonds in an auction, the Bank of Italy said.

The treasury sold 3 billion euros in three-year bonds coming due March 15, 2029 at a yield of 2.98%, up by 7 basis points compared to the previous auction and its highest since September 2024. The bid-to-cover ratio was 1.54.

It also sold 3.25 billion euros in seven-year bonds with a maturity of June 15, 2033 at a yield of 3.55%, up 4 basis points from the previous auction and also the highest since September 2024. The bid-to-cover ratio on that issue was also 1.54.

Lastly, Italy treasury sold 1.25 billion euros in 20-month bonds coming due September 1, 2038 at a yield of 4.04% and a.

bid-to-cover ratio of 1.77.
