Iren FY net profit 301 mln eur, up 11.9%

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 23 mar - The Italian utility Iren said it posted a net attributable profit of 301 million euros in 2025, up by 11.9% compared to the year earlier.

Growth in the bottom line reflected the improvement in Iren's EBITDA, which rose by 6.2% to 1.353 billion euros, and the reduced weight of the share of third parties in net profit following Iren's acquisition of the remaining 40% stake in its Iren Acqua business.

Revenue for the year grew by 8.8% to 6.574 billion euros.

Gross investments amounted to 1.407 billion euros, of which 925 million for technical investments and 522 million in financial investments for the acquisition of the minority stake in Iren Acqua (283 million euros) and the consolidation of Egea (237 million).

Net financial debt rose by 3% compared to the year earlier to reach 4.222 billion euros at end 2025.

Iren said its board will propose to pay a dividend on 2025 earnings of 13.86 euros per share, up by 8% compared to the.

year earlier and equivalent to a payout ratio of about 60%.
