(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 15 mag - Intact Financial is exploring a possible bid for international insurance group Hiscox, trade publication Insurance Post reported, citing sources.

The move comes as Intact looks to build out its commercial lines business, Insurance Post said.

Sources at the British Insurance Brokers' Association conference said with Intact completing its integration of NIG and Farmweb into the business, it is looking at its next big move, the publication said.

At 1514 GMT Hiscox shares were up 13.4%.
