Sensex up 0.17% at 74,611 points (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Mumbai, 02 May - Indian shares closed slightly higher amid mixed Asian markets.

In Mumbai stock market dealings auto, FMCG, metal and pharma shares rose while banks and realty stocks slipped.

The BSE Sensex closed up 0.17% at 74,611 points, while the NSE Nifty closed up 0.19% at 22,648 points.
