Indian shares close slightly higher led by metals, financials

Sensex up 0.16% at 73,852 points (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Mumbai, 24 Apr - Indian shares closed slightly higher, rising for a fourth straight session amid strong Asian markets.

In Mumbai stock market dealings metals and financial shares were among the biggest advancers.

Caution prevailed as investors monitored fresh earnings from Nifty 50 companies this week.

The BSE Sensex closed up 0.16% at 73,852 points, while the NSE Nifty closed up 0.15% at 22,402 points.
