Indian shares close lower, snap 4-day winning streak
Sensex down 0.82% at 73,730 points (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Mumbai, 26 Apr - Indian shares closed lower, snapping a four-day winning streak amid strong Asian markets as investors took profits after the recent rally.
In Mumbai stock market dealings banks weighed, while consumer durables and IT stocks bucked the trend and rose.
The BSE Sensex closed down 0.82% at 73,730 points, while the NSE Nifty closed down 0.67% at 22,419 points.
