Sensex down 0.52% at 73,511 points (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Mumbai, 07 May - Indian shares closed lower after yesterday's flat session amid mixed Asian markets.

In Mumbai stock market dealings FMCG shares rose, while realty, metal, auto, bank, pharma stocks weighed.

The BSE Sensex closed down 0.52% at 73,511 points, while the NSE Nifty closed down 0.62% at 22,302 points.
