Hong Kong shares close higher on property boost and retail data

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 16 giu - Hong Kong share prices closed higher, rebounding after two sessions of losses, as property stocks rallied following new measures by the city of Guangzhou to ease home buying restrictions and relax price controls in an effort to revive the housing market.

Gains were also supported by strong consumer spending data in China and a rise in US equity futures ahead of the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision on Wednesday.
