Hong Kong share prices close lower on Middle East caution
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 17 apr - Hong Kong share prices closed lower as investors adopted a cautious stance regarding the implementation of a permanent US-Iran peace agreement.
While a 10-day ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel took effect on Thursday and US president Donald Trump suggested a breakthrough meeting with Tehran could happen this weekend, the lack of a finalized deal sparked widespread profit-taking following recent market gains.

The Hang Seng index fell 0.89% to close at 26,160.33 points.
