Honeywell Q1 adj EPS 2.45 usd vs 2.21
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 23 apr - The US conglomerate Honeywell said it reported earnings per share from continuing operations of 1.29 dollars in the first quarter of 2026, down by 35% compared to the year earlier, while adjusted earnings per share rose by 11% to 2.45 dollars from the 2.21 dollars posted the year erarlier.
Operating income slipped by 14% to 1.474 billion dollars.
Sales in the quarter amounted to 9.143 billion dollars, with both reported and organic growth of 2%.
Honeywell said it had reached an agreement to sell its Warehouse and Workflow Solutions (WWS) business in an all-cash transaction to American Industrial Partners. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. WSW generated revenue of about 935 million dollars in 2025. Honeywell said that this transaction and the previously announced sale of Productivity Solutions and Services (PSS) are both expected to close in the second half of 2026.
Honeywell also updated the expected timing for the spin-off of Honeywell Aerospace to June 29, subject to final approval.
