Preliminary harmonised April CPI up 2.4% yr/yr (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Berlin, 29 Apr - In April, German consumer prices rose 0.5% on the previous month and 2.2% year on year, according to preliminary data released by the statistics office Destatis.

Harmonised consumer prices rose 0.6% month on month and 2.4% year on year, based on the provisional print.

The final readings for April will be released on May 14.
