Atos, Philips soar (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milan, 29 Apr - In Paris stock market dealings cash-strapped French IT firm Atos soared 23.64% after it confirmed the French government had made an offer for three strategically important parts of its business.

In Amsterdam Dutch medical devices giant Philips jumped 41.10% to a more than two-year high after it agreed a 1.1 billion dollar settlement in the US for personal injury cases linked to the recall of some of its sleep apnea devices.
