Miners boost London's FTSE 100 (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milan, 25 Apr - In European stock market dealings most sectors were mixed, with miners leading the gains and lifting London's FTSE 100 index after Anglo American said it had received an 'unsolicited, non-binding and highly conditional combination proposal' for an all-share takeover by Australia's BHP Group.

Shares in Anglo American rallied 13.31%.

Healthcare stocks were also moderately higher while food and beverage shares dropped.

Consumer goods giant Unilever soared 5.49% after it reported a larger-than-expected sales increase in the first quarter.
