Adidas, Diasorin rally; ASML sips (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milan, 17 Apr - In European stock market dealings most sectors were mixed, with miners leading the gains after yesterday's losses while tech stocks dropped.
German sportswear company Adidas jumped 9.70% after it unexpectedly raised its full-year guidance and reported a year-on-year profit increase in the first quarter.
Shares of chipmaker ASML dipped 3.95% in Amsterdam after the company missed sales forecasts but stuck to its full-year outlook.
Shares of the Italian diagnostics group DiaSorin rallied 3.66% in Milan trade, after the broker Equita forecast DiaSorin would release strong first quarter results in May and estimated the company could increase its guidance in the second quarter. DiaSorin is set to release first quarter results on May 10 and Equita anticipates "overall a good quarter that increases visibility on 2024 estimates thanks to the confirmation of solid growth in immunodiagnostics, resilience in the molecular business and encouraging signs in the LTG division that show a sales recovery after destocking that impacted much of 2023.".
