Europe shares end lower on Middle East escalation -2-

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 28 mag - In European stock market dealings, defense stocks were mostly higher after Ukraine's parliament approved a loan agreement with the EU.

In Frankfurt, Rheinmetall added 4.15% at 1,284.00 euros while in Milan, Leonardo closed 5.36% higher at 54.42 euros.

Also in Milan, STMicroelectronics rose 3.09% to 59.79 euros after Morgan Stanley raised its target price by 60%.

Meanwhile Soitec shares surged 24.64% to 192.20 euros in.

Paris on encouraging 2027 prospects despite a 2026 loss.
