Europe shares end lower on geopolitical and tariff threats -2-
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 8 mag - In European stock market dealings, shares of Rheinmetall slumped 9.18% to 1,218.40 euros in Frankfurt after JPMorgan downgraded the stock to "neutral" from "overweight" and slashed its price target following quarterly results that came in below expectations.
In Milan, shares of Tenaris rose 2.79% at 25.44 euros as the stock attempted to recover from recent losses linked to a cautious second quarter outlook and management changes.
Also in Milan, Prysmian shares added 5.85% to 152.05 euros, reaching record high capitalization levels, as Deutsche Bank raised its recommendation to "buy" from "hold" while lifting its target price to 167 euros.
In Madrid, shares of the travel tech firm Amadeus climbed 1.85% to 51.78 euros after reporting quarterly profits that exceeded analyst estimates despite a decline in flight.
