
Europe shares end lower as Middle East tensions escalate -2-
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) -Milano,13 giu- In European stock market dealings, car makers were mostly lower amid concerns over supply of rare earth materials.
Car part supplier Valeo lost 3.08% at 8.87 euros in Paris while Stellantis closed 3.39% lower at 8.48 euros in Milan.
Also in Milan, shares of the Italian defence and aerospace group Leonardo were up 0.43% at 48.61 euros as defence stocks rose on heightened geopolitical risks. Rheinmetall gained 2.72% at 1,795.50 euros in Frankfurt.
Travel and leisure stocks were also lower with Air France-KLM losing 4.74% at 8.24 euros in Paris and Lufthansa dropping 2.77% at 6.88 euros in Frankfurt.
