Europe shares end lower amid trade tensions, political uncertainty -2-

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) -Milano,10 ott- In European stock market dealings, Wartsila jumped 3.63% at 26.26 euros in Helsinki after the energy equipment company announced a power plant expansion project with Philippine-based power provider Delta P, a subsidiary of Vivant Corporation.

While Jyske rose 3.58% at 751.50 Danish crowns in Copenhagen after it hiked its earnings per share guidance.

In Zurich, shares of Swiss pharmaceutical group Idorsia plunged 16.96% to 3.82 francs after the company placed 16.4 million shares through an accelerated book building, exceeding initial expectations.

In Frankfurt, defence group Rheinmetall dropped 1.16% to 1,882.00 euros, as investors took profits amid easing geopolitical tensions following the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.

In Milan, energy equipment maker Tenaris fell 5.22% to 14.70 euros after BNP Paribas Exane downgraded the stock to.

"neutral" from "outperform".
