(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 15 mag - In European stock market dealings, Magnum Ice Cream Company surged 8.67% at 14.14 euros in Amsterdam amid reports of multiple private equity bids for the ice cream maker.

In Brussels, Syensqo shares added 7.06% to 62.95 euros after the company announced first quarter operating profits that exceeded market expectations.

In Milan, shares of the semiconductor manufacturer STMicroelectronics shed 4.22% at 52.85 euros as the stock faced a slowdown triggered by profit-taking across the tech sector following a downward trend in Asia. While peers ASML and ASM International lost 4.42% at 1,306.60 euros and 4.07%.
