Eli Lilly Q1 adj EPS 2.58 usd, up 59%

Hikes FY guidance (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - New York, 30 Apr - The US pharmaceutical group Eli Lilly said that first-quarter earnings per share increased 66% to 2.48 dollars on a reported basis and rose 59% to 2.58 dollars on an adjusted basis.

Revenue grew 26% to 8.768 billion dollars, driven by the drugs Mounjaro, Zepbound, Verzenio and Jardiance.

The company raised its full-year revenue guidance raised by 2.0 billion dollars to 42.4-43.6 billion dollars. The reported EPS guidance was lifted by 1.25 dollars to 13.05-13.55 dollars and the adjusted EPS guidance was raised 1.30 dollars to 13.50-14.00 dollars.
