Debenhams FY adj EBITDA 53 mln pounds, up 36%

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 30 mar - The UK fast fashion retailer Debenhams Group, which previously traded under the Boohoo name, said that it posted an adjusted EBITDA of 53 million pounds in the financial year to February 28, beating its guidance of 50 million pounds released in January.

Full year adjusted EBITDA rose 36% year on year, driven by a 76% increase in the second half of the year.

The company added it remains confident of a double-digit growth rate for adjusted EBITDA growth in the financial year ending February 28, 2027.

Debenhams expects capital expenditure to fall to about 8 million pounds in the current fiscal year from 16 million the previous year.

The group expects net debt to fall below 1x adjusted EBITDA in the year ahead. The reduction will be driven by operating.
